Wren Hughes was born in Yorkshire in 1955. She studied sculpture
in the studios of Sally Arnup and the late John Skeaping RA from
1972-74, and with James Butler RA at the City and Guilds of London
Art School from 1974-77, where she received a Fina Art Diploma in
Sculpture.
Wren was employed by the Fiorini Bronze Foundry in 1978-79 during
which time she worked on Henry Moore's sculptures.
She has exhibited in art fairs and galleries internationally
- Washington, Paris, New York, Channel Islands and various venues
in London including the Royal Academy. Collections include Southwark
Cathedral and the late Sir Roger de Grey, President of the Royal
Academy.
